A crafty year!

Would you believe me if I told you that it has taken me an entire year to realise that I can make the photos in my posts bigger? Yes. Read it and weep uncontrollably, for it is sadly so. Worse, I have even reflected, from time to time, on what a shame it is that the photos are so small. In the words of the immortal Bart: doh!

Ditziness aside, and on a less scatterbrained and decidedly rather exciting note: a year ago today I published my first ever blog post! Yes, it’s been a whole year. Where HAS the time gone? Well, a lot of it has been spent on a variety of crafty projects and so, by way of a little anniversary celebration, I thought I’d remind myself – and you – of some of my creations. And given the occasion is such a momentous one, I’ll even remember to set the photo size to ‘large’. Now there’s a treat for you.

So what I have I made? Well… I’ve done a bit of knitting:

I’ve made various wearables, including hats…

Pompom-tastic!

… and neck-warmers:

I’ve kept my toes warm…

… and I’ve triumphed with some basic intarsia:

I’ve got my fingers sticky with a variety of découpage projects, such as…

… and, um, the bath:

I’ve tried my hand at jewellery making, from earrings…

I’ve refreshed my cross-stitch skills…

… and taken my first steps in crochet:

And I’ve made various creatures, including a pair of felted robins…

All in all, it’s been a crafty and creative year! So what’s next? Well… if I can convince myself to stop procrastinating, there’s my fussball découpage project to finish…

… and, if I can EVER work out what’s going on with the pattern and/or my knitting, I have my lacy jumper to finish:

Another year of craft and blogging? Yes please!
