‘Tis the season to be toasty…

It is a truth universally acknowledged that time flies. Especially when you’re having fun, and sometimes even when you’re not. And how, indeed, the hours and days have sped by since my last post! I simply don’t know where they’ve gone, or even how they have travelled. Crazy.

Anyway, here I am, back again, and feeling – with, I confess, some considerable smugness – the benefits of my hot water bottle (it’s cold in London today) in its lovely, new, hand-knitted cover:

Hats on for Autumn

The holiday knitting continues apace! In spite of all the outdoorsy stuff we’ve been up to – and there’s been quite a bit of this (after our epic hike on our first full day here, and a day on Brownsea Island, we had a day on the Studland Peninsula where, before we knew it, we’d covered ten miles) – I seem to be whizzing through my holiday projects at such speed that I’m starting to wonder whether I need to find a yarn shop fast and think with a relative degree of slightly lethargic¬†urgency of an additional creation to work on during our lazy evenings in front of the fire.
